Δεν εκανε δουλεια τοτε η αεραντλια ή δεν ηταν γονιμοποιημενα τα αυγα και χαλασαν.

Οταν ξεχωριζουμε αυγα, πρεπει να καθαριζουμε τα φουγκιασμενα μονοι μας με τσιμπιδακι για να μη κολλησουν και τα αλλα.

If the male fertilises all the eggs and all of them are fertile and living, there is no need for MB because there is no dead cell for the fungus to grow on.

The common scenario is that a certain percentage of eggs are bound to be unfertilised....and if they are laid very close to each other, fungus that grow on unfertilised and dead cell will also encase and suffocate the rest of the fertilised eggs and growing fetus. We must assume that as proffesional breeders and don't take chances and don't give way to failure.

The dose is 100mm ( 4 inches ) visibility. 80mm ( 3 1/4 inches ) visibility is quite acceptable.

To measure,

3 hours after spawning, add MB, stir and wait for 5 minutes for the water to become homogeneous or uniform throughout.

Using a ruler, put a white tape on the tip.

Submerse the ruler from the surface in position way back of the tank.

Strong light or aquarium light should be turned off.

Dip the ruler till you reach the 80 ( 3 1/4 inches ) or 100mm ( 4 inches )mark.

If you can still see the tip, add more MB. Repeat as above till you can hardly see the white tip. That will be the concentration and is effective against the most stubborn fungus.

It is good practise to remove 50% within 10 hours before hatch.

But if you missed it, It is O.K. You can dilute it after the eggs hatched immediately or withing the next 2 days.
