FAQ
1. Does the aquarium light use rust-proof material? Yes, of course.
2. What material is the casing made of the aquarium light? Is it rustproof?
the material of the casing is cold rolled steel, also we spray painting to the housing, so that this can avoid corrosion of metal during the light working above the aquarium.
We also have stainless steel housing, it is rustproof for sure. But its price is a little higher.
3. The difference between 120 and 90 W is the amount of LED΄s (and switches), right?
The different between 120w and 90w is amount of leds and switches.
there are 112pcs leds in 120w, and 2 switches to 120w, first switch control 56pcs leds on the left side, second switch control 56pcs led on the right side.
there are 90pcs leds in 90w, we can add two switch to 90w, each switch control 45pcs leds.
4. What brand of leds are you using?
The blue leds are from Bridgelux (www.bridgelux.com), the white leds are from Semileds (www.semileds.com). we can package leds in our own factory. also if you need other brand leds(Cree,etc) , of course we can add them to our light, but the price is much higher.
5. Are you driving the 1W leds at 1A? If yes, are you sure the leds’ lifespan can still reach 50000h?
For 1W leds, the maximum current is 350mA.
On the label, the current is input current. The led power supply output constant 0.35mA current for 1W led working.
For example 90W led grow light: input voltage is 120VAC, input current is 0.75A. There are 2pcs led power supply inside. The output is 45pcs( led series connect)*3.5VDC=157.5VDC(for white LED) the output current is 350mA.
Only after you test and use the light, then you will ensure the lifepan, you can test everything about our light.
6. How many of the leds are white and how many blue in 120w led aquarium light?
There are total 112pcs leds in 120w light, you can make any quantity of the white and blue leds, as long as you make the total amount is 112pcs leds. so the quanitty of white and blue leds are depend on your requirement.
7. Does it have fans to provide cooling?
There are thick Aluminum heat sinking and 3 fans for cooling in 120w light.
8. Can you let me know the 120w aquarium LED lights product total power consumption maximum is ? and LED total power current is?
Total power consumption of 120w is from 110---130w, because if you add more white leds, total power consumption is higher, if there are more blue leds, total power consumption is lower. total current is around 1A.
