Eheim bioMech represents a new concept in filter material for efficient and effective water purification. Both mechanical and biological characteristics are combined into one medium.
Eheim bioMech is recommended as a premium alternative to Eheim Mech in the lower filter container. In this manner, the mechanical filter area can simultaneously have a biological effect.

Overview of important information:

• Special dirt-trapping pockets keep large and small particles out of the water.
• The porous structure of the material has a surface area of 400qm/liter to promote the break down of particles as well as mechanical filtering.
• As with other materials, bioMech can be washed out and re-used.
• Contains no water hardening minerals , pH neutral.
• Intended for salt- and freshwater.

Εγώ πάντως δεν θα το έβαζα μόνο του, χωρίς καθαρά βιολογικό υλικό (substrat ή siporax) και δε νομίζω να είναι καλύτερο απ' αυτά.
