PH OF RO WATER
The pH difference after the RO depends upon the composition of your input water source. It also depends on whether you have large amounts of gases such as CO2 in your local water supply. Generally RO water is un-buffered and will result in a change in ph however, due to the possibility of High amounts of Co2 in the water you are liable to get strange readings, we advise that you aerate the water for ¼ hour before taking a reading. If you are going to use RO water for keeping animals, fresh water fish, plants etc you should buffer your water according to the conditions your live stock requires, as RO water has hardly any buffering you will find it easy to adjust.
